As per CMO 8, s. 2016, the Commission on Higher Education approved 88 higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country to deliver 1,459 graduate programs. 1,000 more submissions are still being evaluated, and the results will be released in two more phases. Faculty and staff in HEIs can avail of scholarships from these CHED-recognized delivering HEIs (DHEIs) during the K to 12 Transition Period (2016-2021).
In the Negros Island Region (Region XVIII), only 4 are included in the 1st batch of the list for delivering institutions. These institutions are Silliman University with 31 graduate programs; St Paul University, Dumaguete with 2; the University of St. La Salle with 2 and UNO-Recoletos with 22 Graduate programs.
The 22 Graduate programs of UNO-Recoletos are: Doctor of Education in Educational Management; Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management; PhD in Psychology; PhD in Development Management; PhD in Business Management; MAEd major in Educational Management; MAED in English; MAEd major in Math; MAEd major in Natural Science; MAEd major in Social Sciences; Master in Business Administration; MBA in Hospital Management; MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management; Master in Computer Science; Master in Information Technology; Master in Information System; Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling ; MA in Psychology; MS in Psychology; MA in Nursing major in Medical Surgical Nursing and MA in Nursing major in Medical Nursing Administration; Master of Science in Criminal Justice with specialization in Criminology.
