New Members of the UNO-R Community
BACOLOD CITY – The Fr. President, through Memorandum Order #24 and with the approval of the School Board, has appointed Rev. Bro. Joaquin D. Jamelo, OAR as University Security and Janitorial Services Coordinator. He is tasked to monitor the implementation of the conditions of the university’s contracts with Greengold Security Agency and IMAG’s Janitorial services. He shall report to the VP – Administration for concerns relating security services while for concerns regarding janitorial services, he is directed to report to the VP – Finance. His appointment took effect last August 17, 2017.
Fray Maximillan Omem, OAR is the new member of the UNO-R family. He will be with us for a year for his exposure. Fray Maximillan was born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He received his Philosophy degree from the Dominican Institute in Nigeria in 2010. He took up his Theology course from Recoletos School of Theology from 2014 – 2017. When asked why he joined the OAR, his answer was simple that he found in the Recoletos the answer to his desire for contemplation (monastic life) and community life well blended with missionary spirit. Previously, he was assigned to the Recoletos Farm in Cavite; Bahay Recoletos in Antipolo; San Ezekiel Moreno Novitiate, Antipolo; Recoletos Formation Center; San Sebastian College Recoletos, Manila and the Recoletos Communications Inc. This year, he will be with the Recoletos de Bacolod community. Fray Maximillan hopes to contribute, in his own little way, to the growth and development of the school and for it to achieve more.
Welcome Fray Max!
