UNO-R honors employees

Bacolod City, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL—The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos  gave honor to its employees on September 15, 2018 during the UNO-R Service Awards 2018 at 5 pm at the University Main lobby. Recipients of the Star of Tolentine Service Awards are Vilma B. Azucena; Glenn M. Amantillo; Clarita T. Lacson; Villaflora S. Lorca; Ana Maria G. Melocoton; Freddie P. Parreño; Evelinda J. Chavez; Dennis L. Garganera; Josette G. Juen; and Gil U. Relatos. These were the employees of the university who are retiring within the school year 2018-2019.

Meanwhile, the St. Ezekiel Moreno service award was given to an employee who has served the university for 25 years; 30 years and 35 years. This year’s awardees for 35 years of service were Susana V. Caler, Jelyn S. Gaspillo, Celo I. Magallanes, and Evelinda J. Chavez. For 30 Years, Ivy G. Aboy, Margiolina M. Menente, Nieves H. Pepito, and Teresita E. Golez. For 25 years of service, Vilma B. Azucena; Russell B. Buslay; Carlos Eduardo I. Legaspi, Jr.; John Clifford P. Salugsugan; Ernil T. Orbecido; Judy J. Mendoza; Ruby C. Ravelista; Norberto P. Sardito, Jr.

Diwa Rekoleto Service Award was given to an employee who has served the university on their 10th, 15th and 20th year. This year’s awardees for 20 years of service were Dennis V. Madrigal; Reymund L. Sabay; Lilyn G. Estrada; Rex B. Abibuag; Alex G. Agustino; Ramel C. Ambino; Mariano D. Antenor, Jr.; Joelittle M. Aritao; Romero M. Daruca; Noel P. De la Cruz; Raymundo L. Montinola; Federico C. Palmes; Raymund B. Reboton; Eddie P. Rodriguez; Armando C. Villanueva; and Dominador C. Villanueva, Jr. For 15 years of service, the awardees were Fatima A. Medel and Maricel B. Pacio. And for their 10 years of service, the awardees were April Marie D. Gonzalez; Joy Q. Borcelas; Zonavieve A. Catalan; Rizah Ann P. Delos Reyes; Joanne A. Fantonalgo; Verna Mae A. Flor; Robelin I. Javier; Marisa B. Petalla; Arnel G. De la Cruz; Pallas Athena Joy M. De Paula; Allan B. Diloy; and Joey D. Jolito. The program opens with the formalities and

Homage to God was led by Rev. Fr. Cristituto A. Palomar, OAR, UNO-R Vice President for Religious Affairs. Words of Welcome were given by Rev. Fr. Walthrode B. Conde, OAR, UNO-R Human Resource Management Development Office Director. UNO-R President Rev. Fr. Don H. Besana, OAR gave his message. Awarding Ceremony followed right after dinner. Responses were given by the awardees. For the St. Ezekiel Moreno Service and Diwa Rekoleto Service Awards, Celo I. Magallanes and Ruby C. Ravelista gave the responses while for the Star of Tolentine Award, all the awardees gave their responses. Closing Remarks was given by Rev. Fr. Ronel P. Gealon, OAR.
