Tagaste Retreat House celebrates its 27th Foundation Anniversary

Tagaytay City, Philippines–Tagaste Retreat House celebrated its 27th Foundation Anniversary with the theme: “Tagaste@27: “Transforming Lives through God’s Word and Loving Service.”

On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:30 A.M., Feast of all Saints of the Order, sisters from different communities trooped to Tagaste Retreat House to attend the thanksgiving mass presided by Reverend Father Vicente Cadeliña, OAR. In his homily, he exhorts everyone to focus first on the word of God. He further said that with the gospel message on the works of mercy, the Lord is telling us to enter the kingdom and that we must do it now.

Talking about entering the kingdom and doing it now, the Tagaste Retreat House in all its 27 years of existence is into “bringing everybody to spiritual transformation” as evidenced by the introduction to the Eucharistic celebration delivered by Sr. Marietta Angelica  Gunayan, AR, when she said, “For the past 27 years of existence of this house of prayer we commit to continue the Christian transformation and renewal to all those who will come to us to commune with God. We believe that through God’s words and with our loving service we will be able to bring Christ’s love and peace to those whose journey in life seems so restless as it says in our tagline- “Tagaste Retreat House- where restless hearts find rest.”

The community of Tagaste Retreat House headed by Sr. Herminia Limotlimot, A.R. was very thankful to God, to those who are present and those who are one with them in spirit.
