The difference between Adam and us is that Adam does not have an umbilical cord while we all have. Meaning, we have an earthly and biological mother while Adam does not have. Whether you like it or not, you are a human being because you have a biological mother and you are her child. You can just imagine how blissful we are to be born into this world through our mothers. You can just imagine how lonely Adam was to come into this world without a mother.
Are you grateful for the mother that God put in your life? Have you considered her immense love for you? Do you appreciate the sacrifices she had undergone since she gave birth to you? Do you appreciate that your mother did not abort you?
A mother’s love is a message that reaches into the scriptures to demonstrate the great love a mother has for her children and how her love reflects the love of God.
There is just something about a mother that makes her extraordinary. She can love beyond our mistakes and failures or fix a broken heart. She can make just about anything “all better” and she never even wears a cape! So many times we take for granted that Mothers are the REAL everyday superheroes. This Mother’s Day, let’s remember how super our mothers really are! And more importantly, remember that you have only one mother. The moment she is gone you cannot ever replace her any longer.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY . . . unwed mothers included!
