Fray Estioko as Distinguished Alumnus of NOHS

Bacolod City, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL—Fray Leopoldo Estioko, OAR, Prior of Recoletos de Cebu, was given an award as Distinguished Alumnus by Negros Occidental High School. This took place during the NOHS 59th Grand Alumni Homecoming last April 27, 2019.

Fray Estioko belongs to Class 69 and their batch celebrated their Golden Anniversary. To open the celebration of their Golden Years, he and his batchmates started their fellowship on April 25, 2019 with the Holy Eucharist presided by Fray Estioko. After the Holy Mass, the President of the Alumni Class 69 welcomed them. On the following day, April 26, the batch spent the day with the Missionaries of Charity in Cebu City to share with them the blessings they received through works of mercy.

During the 59th Grand Alumni Homecoming of NOHS, Fray Leopoldo and his classmate Ms. Cynthia Aranas were honored to be given the Distinguished Award from NOHS Alumni Association, Inc. for their valuable contributions: Ms. Aranas for Public Service, while Fray Estioko for Religion. Among the Class 69, they were the only recipients of the award.
