MANILA—The Archdiocese of Manila organized the sixth edition of the Philippine Conference on New Evangelization. Held at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, from July 18-21, 2019, this year’s PCNE focused on the youth which is in line with the celebration of the Catholic Church in the Philippines’ Year of the Youth.

With the theme: “Filipino Youth Walking with Jesus,” and participated by more than 5,000 youth and youth ministers, the highlights of this conference were the celebration of the Holy Eucharist; Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament; inputs on Youth Ministry; annotations on Pope Francis’ Post-Synod Apostolic Exhortation “Christus Vivit”; faith-sharing and testimonials from the young and youth ministers; and moments of the Church listening to the young members of the Church.
