Bacolod City, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL–Charlene Grace Varrera Gelotin, an alumna of UNO-R College of Engineering; UNO-R High school and UNO-R Grade school, got 2nd rank in the November 2021 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination. Engineer Charlene is a true-blue UNO-Rian since her kindergarten, and finished valedictorian and salutatorian during her elementary and high school years. She was also a staff of the Toletine Star, UNO-R College publication.

In her facebook post, Charlene wrote ”I have been a UNO-Rian scholar for 17 years — from Kinder to 5th year. UNO-R is my home away from home. If it weren’t for the privilege my Alma Mater gave me, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

Charlene is the daughter of Mrs. Marlene Gelotin, the UNO-R Integrated School (K-10) Subject Area Coordinator of the Christian Life Formation.  Mrs. Gelotin, a proud mother, and a devotee of Nuestra Sra. de la Salud, is thankful to God and all the prayers and support of her family, friends, and the UNO-R community.

UNO-R is one of the top 20 performing schools in Civil Engineering (with 15 and up examinees). UNO-R got a 60.0% passing percentage while the national passing percentage is 36.67%.
