Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, Jr., OAR, UNO-Recoletos President, presided over the Baccalaureate Mass of the university, March 19, 2016, at the University Amphitheater.   Fr. President  was joined by Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR;  Rev. Fr. Loreto Dacanay, OAR;  Rev. Fr. Albert Pellazar, OAR; Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR; Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR; Rev. Fr. RonelGealon, OAR; Rev. Fr. Jose ErnilAlmayo, OAR and Fr. Persiuz Decena, OAR.

The University Lay administrators set aside March 21 as a day to encounter the Lord through a Recollection given by Rev. Fr. Enrico Silab, OAR.  The talks focused towards the attainment of an authentic encounter with God, especially during the season of Lent and the celebration of the Holy week. 

As per CMO 8, s. 2016, the Commission on Higher Education approved 88 higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country to deliver 1,459 graduate programs. 1,000 more submissions are still being evaluated, and the results will be released in two more phases.     Faculty and staff in HEIs can avail of scholarships from these CHED-recognized delivering HEIs (DHEIs) during the K to 12 Transition Period (2016-2021).

The UNO-Recoletos Office of External Affairs presents “Four Fathers”  a photo exhibit by the four Religious Administrators of the University.  It is an exhibit of the beauty of creation captured by the eye of the camera lenses of Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR; Rev. Fr. Loreto Dacanay, OAR; Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR and Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR.  The exhibit runs until March 10 at the Museo Rekoleto de Negros inside the university campus.
